About This Project

The inspiration for this collection comes from the feeling of “ Comfort experienced when one slips into their favorite warm sweater”.

Human insight :
When women start their run – we like to start out Warm, as opposed to men who overheat within minutes of their exercise. This insight was gathered through numerous interviews with male and female runners and how they prefer to layer up during the winter months.

Technical insights:
All pieces within this capsule collection have been knitted and engineered keeping the mobility needs of the body-part that they cover.

Sweater: A fully fashioned garment, this product is knitted using wool and polyester blends which measure up to the Climaheat standards set by Adidas. The knit has mesh structures in areas of sweat and ribs in areas of movement and support. The top half is wind resistant with the use of special yarn floats.

Tight: A fully engineered high-waisted tight, this product has a placed engineering pattern specifically created to flatter a female runners body. The high-density warm-knit simultaneously provides compression, lightweight and water-resistance as benefits. Additional features include a waterproof – phone pocket and leg zippers.

Jacket: Another fully-fashioned piece, the Phoenix jacket is made out of two layers of knits bonded together to provide insulation and weather protection. I challenged myself to create a knitwear jacket that transcended the Sweater look and instead became a high-performance outerwear staple. Additional features include- pre-shaped sleeves, reflective elements, and stay-down zippers.

Designed as Luxury high-tech apparel, this collection is retailed at select Adidas stored and online boutiques globally.
